Makuti Dining Chair

The Makuti chair answers a market demand for dining seating with a small footprint for tight spaces. The armless design allows for it to be neatly tucked underneath a dining table so that it takes up less floor space. A sloped backrest offers users a comfortable yet supportive place to lean back and relax while they enjoy a meal around the table.

Prices exclude fabric / leather, you are welcome to supply your own or specify the fabric you want, and we can order on your behalf from various fabric houses such as Hertex, Crest Leather or HomeFabrics.

All chairs are available to buy in one of four standard timber finish and fabric options. These include grey and Ivory FibreGuard colour-ways with the following qualities: Stain-free, anti-microbial, anti-bacterial and mildew & odour resistant. We also offer a choice between cognac and black leather options that are finished with a combination of transparent waxes and oils, which gives the leather a soft feel. When the leather is stretched or pulled, the colour migrates and becomes lighter in the pulled area. The leather will patina and age over time, giving it a vintage and classic worn leather look.
